Don’t play that funky music. At Church.

Before my blog crashed into oblivion, you might remember a post about playing “secular” music at church. I had mentioned that I had introduced “Chasing Cars” by Snow Patrol into our pre/post service mix.

Well apparently, we’ve “gotten some emails” and now I can no longer play “secular” music at church. I’m not so much upset about it, just disappointed. I’m just not into making Christians comfortable. I don’t get it. And I guess I don’t have to. I just have to be obedient.

Ready to Play Some Paintball.

I am currently making preparations for a day of paintball.  I’m super-excited!  The last time I played paintball, I lived in Ohio.  So I’ll probably be a little rusty.  It looks like we’ll be heading up to Missouri to play at Underground-Paintball.  They have a cave!  Looks pretty sweet!

Aaron hooked me up with a new 20oz. CO2 tank, and I went and bought a new barrel yesterday.  Nothing too expensive, but it’s 12″ and NOT chrome!  Offering a lot less shiny… and hopefully a little more accuracy.  It’s super lightweight, carbon fiber… it appears to be a halfway decent barrel… I guess we’ll see how it plays.

The date is on my calendar… and I’m looking forward to throwing some paint around!
