Survey says…

Still doing a lot of reflecting on my life and forward thinking about where God wants to take me.  I’m still not sure where that is… but I know that it’s not where I’m currently at.  Not speaking in terms of physical location.  Moreso, I know that God has bigger plans in store for me.  He is calling me to more than what I am comfortable with.

That is a lot of vauge talk, just to say that I need to step up my leadership.  On my whiteboard in my office I have written on it “Become the leader”.  It’s not a task… it’s a process.  There’s a question that’s been kicking me in the head:

What is it that only I can do?

I’ve been trying and trying to answer that question, but haven’t been able to yet.  It’s not graphic design, and it’s not video editing… because I know there’s at lot of people out there that are far more talented than I am.  So leads me to go deeper than that… which is hard for me to do.

So I’m surveying the masses… what do you see in me?  Besides graphic design and video editing… what are my strong points?  What are some weaknesses?  Do I have any blind spots?

Satan’s big plans.

God must have something serious planned for our church for this week.  Satan is hard at work to knock us off course.  Here’s the rundown of today:

• I went in at 6:00am today to transfer some files to my laptop for service, network crashed 4 times in 20 minutes… each time halfway through my 250MB transfer.
• Steven, our bass player, spent the night throwing-up from a sudden illness… he called in sick today.
• My wife woke up with a serious migrane, she called in sick.
• Lauren, our youth pastor’s wife, was sick over the weekend with a sudden virus… she called in sick today.
• Now, I came home got a sudden sore throat and fever.

I’m not sure what God has in store for this week, but it’s got to be good!  Come on Jesus!

UFC:70

So I was catching up on the UFC that got TiVo’d while I was gone. This was by far the best knockout of UFC:70.   Once it goes to slow-mo… pay attention to his ankle.  I don’t know how much longer it will be available due to copyright violations… but here it is….
