I’m 30.

Amazing, isn’t it?  That this guy, that looks like he’s 14, is 30-years-old.  I can hardly believe it myself.  This is the first birthday that I’ve had that I’ve been what some might call “bummed”.  I’ve done very little reflecting on my life today… but I am missing my family a great deal.

On Saturday, we celebrated my b-day with some of our friends.  We all went out to KOBE, and enjoyed some sushi/japanese cuisine.  I tried something new… the Big Tempura Roll (which has spicy tuny and eel).  Thanks to Matt & Jenn, Tony & Jenn, Aaron, and of course my awesome wife Sabrina for making it a great night!

So what did I get for my birthday?  If I told you, you would think less of me.  And might even think I’m a sinner and going to hell because of it.  But it sure is good.

I’ve been spending some time over at psdtuts.com … and even better, they have a channel over at Vimeo with some video tutorials.

It’s a great place to pick up some new tecniques or just some fresh ideas.
